I think the glider is great. It was easy to assemble and works nice. however, you should note that even though the product claims to be treated wood it was covered in mildew in just a few weeks from leaving on the deck.

|I made this as a surprise gift. It was possible!!!!,
I loved making this glider. I followed suggestions and gave it 2 coats of exterior Spar varnish. It fits 2 avarage grownups fine, and has greatly enhanced the garden! Its lovely!!!

|Excellent item for the price,
This was to replace a glider purchased from a well known “big box” store’s on line site. There is no comparison between the two. The replaced glider was all wood, but not the wood that was advertised. It was not well finished and was acceptable at best. This glider has a good metal frame. The glider action works smoothly and quietly. The wood slats are smooth and so far no problems with darkening/discoloring. Of course it does have cushions on seat and back and is on a covered porch, but it is in Texas. Would buy another and would recommend this to friends.
